L. C. Cruell - Creator, Writer, Director

L.C. Cruell is the creator, writer, director and a producer of 31. Cruell is the director of several short films and the writer of numerous multiple-award-winning feature screenplays, pilots, and shorts, currently focusing on the supernatural, horror, thriller, sci-fi and dark comedy genres. Cruell also recently signed a deal with Mike the Pike Productions to create a branded franchise from her co-written script “Mistresses of Horror” including features and graphic novels. An honors graduate of Duke University and Harvard Law school, Cruell is also an author of 25 published short stories, a film critic, a freelance writer/editor, and an entrepreneur.

Mike Bruno - Editor

Mike Bruno is the editor for 31. Since 2005, he has served as Director of Photography for several films and documentaries including: Sex, Brains, and Rock N' Roll, the 70th Anniversary of Atlanta's Plaza Theatre, and most recently Breaking Through, which he is also editing. He was a Lead Editor for Georgia Public Broadcasting's C-47 Short Film Showcase and Assistant Director for their live 2009 Job Fair Show. Applying his expertise in the field of production and post-production Mike edits, films, produces and directs, collaborating on projects for clients such as Comcast, MS&L Worldwide, Atlantis Moon Productions, CibaVision, Delta, Home Depot and Michelin.

Amy Peterson - Audio Supervisor

Amy Peterson is the Audio Supervisor for 31, encompassing everything from boom operation and on-set recording to sound design, editing, mixing and the incredible audio special effeccts so crucial to the atmosphere and story. Her training was in music production at SAE Institute Atlanta, but she became more interested in the world of sound for picture and began working in the film industry upon graduation in 2009. Amy is also the sole sound engineer for (and made an appearance as an extra in) Star Command, a sci-fi comedy series filmed in Atlanta.

Steven Swigart - Director of Photography

Steven Swigart is the director of photography for 31. He is a cinematographer and videographer residing in Atlanta, GA. He has served as cinematographer for numerous commercials airing in Georgia and on the Internet, including one that ran during the 2010 Super Bowl through out the state of Georgia.

Dawn S. Smith - Executive Producer

Dawn S. Smith serves as executive producer for 31. Smith has authored numerous screenplays and articles, including the choreoplay, “Sunshine for a Midnight Weary,” which was commended by the Atlanta Film Festival, Los Angeles Times, and LA Weekly.The former Headline News VJ uses her brain tumor as inspiration to advocate for others and juggle life as a freelance writer.

Claudia Bennett - Supervising Producer, Social Media PR

Claudia Bennett serves as a producer and the social media guru for 31. She is a graduate of Georgia Perimeter College and is currently studying at York University. She is new to the film industry but not public relations, having worked in that capacity in the art world. She is using her social media prowess to promote 31 domestically and internationally.

Julian Bennett - Webmaster, Evil Overlord

Julian Bennett serves as producer and the webmaster for 31. He has provided tech support at various levels since elementary school. As long as there are people who embrace technology with a sense of fear and trepidation, he will be there to provide the solutions they can’t and/or won’t see. He currently oversees web development for the GTA SkiBus and GCFT

Tammy Good - Producer

Tammy Good serves as a producer for 31. A Pennsylvania native, Good graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Communication and began a career in the music industry (promotion and photography). Eight years ago, Good moved to Los Angeles and found herself on a movie set within three weeks. Since, she has been a part of many creative projects including 31 and is currently producing the music documentary EVERYDAY HUSTLE.

Trevite A. Willis - Producer

Trevite A. Willis serves as a producer for 31. She is also a producer at Southern Fried Filmworks, LLC. Ms. Willis has produced music videos, short and feature films including the romantic comedy, What a Man Wouldn’t Do for a Woman, and the African American gay coming-of-age, Blueprint. Uncle Killa, the Columbia University short film she produced, earned the director a DGA Best Student Film – African American award and was picked up by HBO. Currently, her award-winning Bahamian drama, Children of God, will be released theatrically in Spring 2011.

Becky Biggs - Supervising Producer, Actress, Makeup Artist

Becky Biggs serves as the supervising producer, lead actress playing the role of “31,” and make-up artist for 31. She has worked in the film industry for more than five years and has produced, acted, written, and done make-up for more than 20 shorts and feature-length films that have appeared in film festivals across the nation, including Zombiween, Have Me for Dinner, Dance of the Dead, and Skipping School. In addition to film, Becky has produced and appeared in several commercials and in the 2011 Gothic Visions calendar produced by Quicksylver, Inc.

Ben Bryant - Actor

Ben Bryant serves as the lead actor, playing the role of “30” in 31. After studying acting, he has since performed in a variety of stage productions, as well as a restaurant chain commercial. His portrayal of the character 30 in the film 31 marks his debut into the film industry.

Rob Kiely - Associate Producer, Actor

Rob Kiely serves as associate producer and played the role of the man in the “White Coat” for 31. From a young age, he satisfied his love of performing by acting. More recently he has been testing his wit as a stand-up comedian and ad copy writer. His ads have won numerous awards and have been featured in national print, on-line, and in television spots.
